How the qPCR platforms work
qPCR tracks the amplification of DNA or RNA (cDNA) in real time through continual measurements of fluorescent molecules (chromophores) activated during the PCR process. For qPCR assays, we leverage the Applied Biosystems QuantStudio technology, which provides enhanced, high-resolution fluorescence detection for precise quantification with multiplexing capabilities. Our molecular suite is equipped with the latest generation of qPCR equipment, including Applied Biosystems QuantStudio 7 Flex or Pro with both 96- and 384-well fast-cycle options as well as TaqMan Array Cards. Our modern qPCR instrumentation allows for the simultaneous measurement of multiple DNA amplification reactions in a single reaction vessel, making it possible to process large batches of samples and multiplex endpoints to increase throughput. This enables reaction volumes at nanoliter levels, creating substantial savings in the amount of reagents and samples needed to perform testing.

The QX ONE ddPCR System can deliver highly sensitive, and reproducible results. The system is fully automated and enables walk-away automation and ease of multiplexing. ddPCR allows for simultaneous target detection without the need for reference materials due to the precision derived from droplet generation methodology. Automation also eliminates pipetting error and leads to further reproducibility.
